Earlier this year, Liaison Group took part in the Best Companies engagement survey, to assess staff satisfaction levels across the company.

The HR and senior management teams were interested in gaining this insight particularly in the aftermath of Covid-19, in order to check on the comfort and happiness of staff since moving to a fully remote working method.

Liaison Group’s HR Business Partner, Corinne Spillane, said: “2020 was a difficult year for everyone in a multitude of ways, and whilst we were fortunate in our position of not needing to furlough any staff, a number of job roles altered or needed to be completed differently in response to the pandemic. Using the Best Companies b-Heard survey ensured we gave all staff a voice to let us know what we were doing well as a company, and what still needs improving since business operations have changed.”

The results of the survey, which was completed by 224 employees across Liaison Group, have now been received and show that the company is ranked as a 2-star, or ‘outstanding’, place to work in 2021.

Spillane continues: “We are over the moon to have been recognised as an Outstanding Place to Work, and view it as a real achievement following the challenges of the past twelve months. With the support of the senior management team, we have now pledged to continue building on our practices to ensure Liaison Group continues as a top place to work in the UK going forward.”

Group CEO, Andrew Armitage, adds: “Over the past year, what I have been continually impressed with has been the extraordinary resilience of our staff at Liaison Group. They have all stood up and faced the task in hand despite the pressures of Covid, and I am delighted to see those efforts recognised in the results of the Best Companies survey.”
