Before we got Liaison Assist, our value for money programme used Excel spreadsheets. We had over 20 spreadsheets in place in order to monitor and report on CIP, and although there are some advantages at times to using Excel, it meant there were particular issues. The complexity of macros and embedded formulas were often prone to fail, and there was often human error which caused issues.
Liaison Assist also provides us with an automated dashboard, which means divisional directors and care group managers can see the information easily. This is a much better way of doing it rather than relying on a master spreadsheet.
