Survey with a Purpose: Liaison Group Donates to UK Charities Through Employee Feedback

At Liaison Group, our annual staff survey isn't just about improving the workplace, it's about giving back. For every Best Companies survey completed in late 2024, our senior leadership pledged a £10 donation to three UK-based charities.

Back in late 2024, Liaison Group participated in its annual staff survey with Best Companies to gather thoughts and opinions from its teams on working life at the company.

As part of this process, Liaison’s senior management team offered an incentive of £10 for every survey completed to be shared across three charities working within communities across the UK…

The survey was completed by 287 employees, leading to a total donation of £2,870 – rounded up to £1,000 per charity – to be donated to the following three charities…

The Hospice of St Francis is a hospice supporting those diagnosed with a serious illness and their families in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Carey Bavington from the Hospice of St Francis says:

We would like to thank Liaison Group for their generous support. As a charity, we rely on the incredible support of local businesses to help us raise the £6million needed each year to run the hospice. This vital funding enables us to provide a wide range of free care and support services to people across our community.

In Worcester, Maggs Day Centre supports the homeless and vulnerably housed. Melissa Blewitt, Fundraising, Communications and Relationships Manager at Maggs Day Centre, says:

We’re so grateful to the team at Liaison Group for their generous support. Donations like this help us provide food, clothing, and vital one-to-one support to people experiencing homelessness in Worcester – and remind those we work with that their community truly cares.

And Mind Your Head delivers mental health support services across Shetland, Scotland. Gill Glover, Service Manager at the charity, states:

Mind Your Head is very grateful to receive this donation. As an independent charity, we don’t receive central government funding, so we are reliant on donations for some of the work we do. We are overwhelmed by the continued support to our charity; every penny we receive is used to support the Shetland community.

Corinne Spillane, Chief People Officer at Liaison Group, responds:

At Liaison, supporting our local communities is a core part of who we are. Being able to make a positive difference while also enriching the experience of our employees is a true win-win. I’m so thankful to our teams for getting behind these efforts, and hope these donations help make life a little easier for those who need it.
