From Plans to Performance: How UHSFT Achieved 77% Recurrent Savings by Digitising CIPs
In partnership with HFMA and joined by over 125 NHS colleagues, we hosted a live event exploring how trusts can manage the ongoing pressures facing NHS finance teams by moving away from spreadsheet‑based cost improvement programmes (CIPs) and adopting a more joined‑up, digital approach.
This live event shared the experience of University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHSFT), who digitised their CIP programme to create a single, real‑time view of schemes, progress and risk. The session explored how this approach has helped bring greater control, visibility and sustainability to savings delivery at a time of increasing financial pressure.
Liaison Assist also provides us with an automated dashboard, which means divisional directors and care group managers can see the information easily. This is a much better way of doing it rather than relying on a master spreadsheet.
