Digital tools enabling safe PIFU to release capacity Webinar

We will be discussing how this innovative solution can support NHS organisations to tackle the elective care backlog safely and efficiently

Hear how Infinity Health – Liaison Workforce partner and NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow – is supporting the first wave of trusts to digitise Patient initiated follow-up (PIFU) and Personalised Outpatients (POP) lists, to release capacity for the NHS’s elective recovery plan.

Infinity Health Clinical Director, Dr Jo Garland, and CEO, Elliott Engers, will be discussing how this innovative solution can support NHS organisations to tackle the elective care backlog safely and efficiently.

Managing waiting lists and elective recovery plans is a complex process after a serious health crisis with a tired and reduced workforce. Using previous, manual methods is not going to be enough to manage the problem efficiently. Digital tools like Infinity must be introduced to ensure NHS patients get the treatment they need, within a reasonable timeframe.

These tools can be used to stratify the PIFU patient groups into Low and High-Risk specialities and conditions, to support clinical decision making and minimise the risk of patients lost to follow up or non-compliant patient deterioration.
